MY PROCESS

Connection

1

Your care begins with a phone or video chat with Amy Ostroski, RD, CLC. This initial consultation is free of charge and helps Amy gain an initial understanding of your goals, needs and priorities. Your journey is unique and this discovery call will help determine the path that best fits you.

Initial Meeting

2

After our connection call, we’ll schedule a 90 minute virtual session. This session is the springboard for your entire journey. Our goal during this meeting is to gain a comprehensive understanding of who you are. For those seeking nutrition support, I’ll want to learn about your medical history, diet and weight history, family dynamic and your thoughts about food, movement, health, shape and size. Additionally, for those seeking lactation support, I’ll want to learn about your pregnancy and birth journey as well as your support system. I want to learn about who you are as a person - how you live, work and spend your time - to help you reach your goals in the most effective and sustainable way.

Follow Up Session

Most follow up sessions are 45-60 minutes and will support the journey that you began to define during our initial meeting. My goal is to provide you with a safe place to discuss what matters most to you. Sessions are typically virtual, but if you are local to Fort Collins, Colorado, I may be able to accommodate in-person visits.

A Note About

Virtual Sessions

The Covid-19 pandemic has demonstrated that the virtual setting can be a safe, relaxed way to provide outstanding nutrition and lactation support. I have found that the opportunity to provide virtual nutrition and lactation counseling has provided my clients with unlimited flexibility and enhanced access to high-quality support. Virtual counseling has allowed me the opportunity to support parents and children from Colorado, Wyoming, New York and beyond.
